You’ll notice something different about the Jordan valve…the sliding gate seat. A remarkable concept that offers sophisticated performance and benefits not found in traditional rising stem and rotary valves.
The sliding gate seat design provides an area of closure, not a line of closure. When the valve is closed the disc and plate overlap by 0.8mm. This area of closure helps reduce the effect of wire draw which is one of the most common causes of seat leakage. What does this mean for you? Less maintenance downtime.
The sliding gate seat is ideally suited to steam applications but can be used in a wide range of arduous applications.
